Yes, the library does accept donations. We accept donations of books, DVDs and VHSs. The stipulations below must be met for us to accept the donations.
I'd Like To Make A Monetary Donation Instead. How Would I Do That?
Thank you in advance for your consideration. If you wish to make a monetary donation in the form of cash, please give it to the circulation staff, and let them know that's what it's for. If you would like to make a larger donation, we do accept checks. Please make checks out to the Dunellen Public Library. Thank you!
We have established a Benefactor Gift Program to help supplement our yearly book budget. Donors can become any of the following:

We do not accept Encyclopedias, Condensed Books, Bibles, Dictionaries or Thesauruses.
We do not accept children's workbooks, coloring, sticker or activity books. No written in materials please.
We do not accept moldy, dirty or damaged books.
Each week we post The New York Times' "Best Sellers" list by the circulation desk. You can help us by purchasing a title and donating it to the library. return, after we process the book (with a special "donated by" book plate), you will be number one on the list to read it.
DVDs Must Be In Good Condition
Please be advised we are not adding older DVDs to our collection, and they will be put immediately out for sale to benefit children's programming.
