The Dunellen Public Library's building is temporarily closed. Our services are always available online. Books which are due will automatically be renewed as will library cards which are due for renewal.
The Dunellen Public Library feels that as a free public library, part of the educational and cultural community, we see the hurt within our borough, our nation, and around the world in response to recent events. We acknowledge the historical context which has brought about the civil unrest we are witnessing. We mourn the unwarranted and senseless deaths of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, Tony McDade, Sean Reed, Breonna Taylor and all other unnamed individuals who have had their lives cut short. We denounce racism; we denounce violence. We stand with the black community, and all who face oppression. We are listening and we are learning. We are committed to providing programs that educate, enrich, uplift, and unite our patrons, our staff, and our world. We strive to promote strength in diversity and unity through education.
